I'm a builder, investor, and advisor based in San Francisco.
Most recently I was a General Partner at Reach Capital, where I spent nearly a decade investing in early-stage education companies and helped grow Reach from $50M to over $500M. These days I'm building Hazelnote, a self-organizing notes app, and Storylens, a Chinese storybook companion for ABC parents.
I love learning and building. Before all of this I studied bioengineering at UC Berkeley and got my MBA and MPA at Wharton and Harvard Kennedy School. When I'm not at my desk I'm usually climbing or eating my way through San Francisco.
